On 02/15/15 01:58:37PM Regarding Dave Fuglewicz | Identifier, @GAJOOB said: When recording on 4-track, did you bounce tracks or was your layering done on your machines?

On 02/14/15 05:30:53PM Regarding Dave Fuglewicz | Identifier, @davefugle said: I was only using my four track cassette deck during the recording of "Ultra-Zone". I started using a computer for recording in 1999 but continued to use my four track until 2002 or 2003.

On 02/12/15 01:14:44PM Regarding Dave Fuglewicz | Identifier, @GAJOOB said: Were you recording completely outboard at the time? (no DAW)

On 02/07/15 02:17:05AM Regarding general, @GAJOOB said: Ha -- yeah, I don't throw things away. My little place is filled with stuff recording artists like you sent me over the years. Wish I had more time. I could spend another 20 years pullin' it out, I think. Probably have to teach my daughter how to care for this animal.

On 02/06/15 12:46:30AM Regarding general, @rotcod2015 said: WOW, Bryan - not sure where you're pullin' all these from, but that surely brings back some great mem'ries!

On 02/06/15 12:39:48AM Regarding misc, @rotcod2015 said: Here's a tape I did with Belinda in the "way back when".... (free stream or download): https://archive.org/details/Zp-5NecessaryIllusions

On 01/27/15 03:45:20PM Regarding Bat Lenny | Songs From the Junk Drawer Vol. 1 '82-'83, @Greg Mathieson said: This collection is the result of an archeological dig through the many hours of and miles of reel-to-reel and cassette audio tape recorded by Bat Lenny circa 1982 - 1983. Note the ominous subtitle of “Volume 1”, portending further installments. Bat Lenny tended to record an awful lot of sounds and then hide them away in boxes in several basements, never intending them to be heard by anyone but their creators (in some cases the reason is evident).

After replacing some belts and twisting some head alignment screws on the old equipment we were able to bring some of it back to life. Sadly, some of it has returned to the oxide dust from whence it came, and some is just missing, but this collage represents some of what we were up to in the early days of Cassette Culture, before we were even aware such a thing existed.

Dim Diversion and Murky Jollity abounds, along with some occasional silliness.

On 01/22/15 08:47:01AM Regarding Remaining the Same, @GAJOOB said: Featuring "Portrait of Flesh" and "Happy Go Lucky" by Scott Johnson (Love, Calvin)
