about GAJOOB.org

this about page is a work in progress

I began publishing GAJOOB as a local print zine. I worked in a print shop and got an old Mac 512 being retired for $50, along with Pagemaker on two disks. It was 1986.

I interviewed local bands at shows and practice spaces and interviewed hometapers in cassette culture around the world mostly by mail; and reviewed thousands of tapes, CDr’s, zines and all kinds of stuff. I still do that here so feel free to send me a link or send me something in the mail.
